When I first moved to Germany (for love) I had to quickly scrap together a new plan. My degree in Recreation & Leisure wasn’t doing much for me overseas, not to mention, I didn’t speak German.
So I started exploring the idea of becoming a website designer, despite having no formal training or education. But I was curious and determined to figure it out.
The thought of making a great living, all from my laptop, sounded too good to pass up.
This isn’t the part where I tell you it was super easy and I achieved overnight success or anything. Because, there was a lot of trial & error involved. However, I eventually started landing projects up to $9,000—and I’d do a couple of them each month!
A few years into running a successful website design business and even becoming a Squarespace Authorized Trainer, I decided I didn’t want to just keep this to myself!
